પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ સંસદમાં વિકલાંગતા ધરાવતી વ્યક્તિઓના ખરડા – 2016 પસાર થવા બદલ પ્રશંસા કરી છે. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે આ સીમાચિહ્નરૂપ ક્ષણ છે અને એક્સેસિબલ ઇન્ડિયા મૂવમેન્ટને વધારે મજબૂત કરશે.
“વિકલાંગતા ધરાવતી વ્યક્તિઓના અધિકારનો ખરડો -2016 પસાર થવો સીમાચિહ્નરૂપ ક્ષણ છે અને એક્સેસિબલ ઇન્ડિયા મૂવમેન્ટની તાકાત વધારશે. આ કાયદા હેઠળ વિકલાંગતાના વધુ પ્રકારોને ઉમેરવામાં આવ્યા છે અને સાથે સાથે વધારાના લાભ માટેની જોગવાઈઓ પણ ઉમેરવામાં આવી છે. વળી આ નવા કાયદામાં વિકલાંગતા ધરાવતી વ્યક્તિઓ સામે આચરવામાં આવતા ગુના અને નવા કાયદાની જોગવાઈઓના ઉલ્લંઘન બદલ માટે દંડની કડક જોગવાઈ કરવામાં આવી છે. નવા કાયદામાં કેટલીક સ્પષ્ટ ખાસિયતો છે, જે તકો, સમાનતા અને સુલભતામાં વધારો કરશે. તેના પર એક નજર નાંખવા આ લિન્ક પર ક્લિક કરો -https://goo.gl/Zwpm4k.”
