Shri Narendra Modi mourned the sudden demise of noted comedian Shri Jaspal Bhatti, who passed away after a road accident in the wee hours of Thursday 25th October 2012.Expressing his grief on Twitter, Shri Modi wrote, “Jaspal Bhatti's demise is unfortunate. He filled our lives with much needed humour. My condolences to his family. May his soul rest in peace.”
Shri Jaspal Bhatti made a made a mark for himself in Movies as well as the Small Screen. He is remembered for his TV series “Flop Show” that aired on Doordarshan in 1989.
Lost Many Stalwarts of the Entertainment Industry in 2012
Shri Modi remarked that in 2012 we have lost many greats from our entertainment industry.

Just a few days back we lost ace film director Mr. Yash Chopra after a prolonger illness. Others whom we lost this year include cine star Shri Rajesh Khanna, Shri Dara Singh.
Gujarati music lovers mourned Shri Rasbihari Desai, who made a mark as a distinguished singer and composer.
