પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે નવી દિલ્હીમાં રાષ્ટ્રીય ગીત વંદે માતરમ્ની 150મી વર્ષગાંઠ નિમિત્તે એક વર્ષ સુધી ચાલનારા સ્મરણોત્સવનું ઉદ્ઘાટન કર્યું. સભાને સંબોધતા શ્રી મોદીએ કહ્યું કે વંદે માતરમ્ માત્ર એક શબ્દ નથી - તે એક મંત્ર, એક ઉર્જા, એક સ્વપ્ન અને એક પવિત્ર સંકલ્પ છે. તેમણે ભાર મૂક્યો કે વંદે માતરમ્ ભારત માતા પ્રત્યેની ભક્તિ અને આધ્યાત્મિક સમર્પણનું પ્રતીક છે. આ એક શબ્દ આપણને આપણા ઇતિહાસ સાથે જોડે છે, આપણા વર્તમાનને આત્મવિશ્વાસથી ભરી દે છે અને આપણા ભવિષ્યને એવું માનવાની હિંમત આપે છે કે કોઈ પણ સંકલ્પ પૂર્ણ થવાથી દૂર નથી અને કોઈ પણ ધ્યેય આપણી પહોંચની બહાર નથી.
