આજે દેશ મહાન કવિ સુબ્રમણ્ય ભારતીજીની જન્મજયંતીની ઉજવણી કરી રહ્યો છે. હું સુબ્રમણ્ય ભારતીજીને મારી શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ પાઠવું છું. હું તેમને મારી શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ અર્પણ કરું છું. આજનો દિવસ ભારતીય સંસ્કૃતિ અને સાહિત્ય માટે, ભારતના સ્વાતંત્ર્ય સંગ્રામની યાદો અને તમિલનાડુના ગૌરવ માટે એક મોટી તક છે. મહાન કવિ સુબ્રમણ્ય ભારતીની રચનાઓ અને રચનાઓનું પ્રકાશન એ એક મહાન સેવા છે, એક મહાન આધ્યાત્મિક સાધના છે, જે આજે પૂર્ણ થઈ રહી છે. 21 ખંડોમાં 'કાલવારિસૈયલ ભારતીય પદપુગલ'નું સંકલન કરવાની 6 દાયકાની અથાક મહેનતનું આવું સાહસ અસાધારણ, અભૂતપૂર્વ છે. આ સમર્પણ, આ સાધના, સીની વિશ્વનાથન જીની આ મહેનત, મને પૂરો વિશ્વાસ છે, આવનારી પેઢીઓને તેનો ઘણો લાભ મળવાનો છે. આપણે ક્યારેક એક શબ્દ સાંભળતા હતા. એક જીવન, એક મિશન. પરંતુ વન લાઈફ વન મિશન શું છે તે સીનીજીએ જોયું છે. આ બહુ મોટી સાધના છે. તેમની તપસ્યાએ આજે મને મહા-મહોપાધ્યાય પાંડુરંગ વામન કાણેની યાદ અપાવી છે. તેમણે તેમના જીવનના 35 વર્ષ ધર્મશાસ્ત્રનો ઇતિહાસ લખવામાં વિતાવ્યા. મને વિશ્વાસ છે કે સીની વિશ્વનાથન જીનું આ કાર્ય શૈક્ષણિક જગતમાં બેન્ચ-માર્ક બનશે. હું આ કાર્ય માટે વિશ્વનાથન જી, તેમના તમામ સાથીદારો અને તમને બધાને અભિનંદન આપું છું.પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ મહાન તમિલ કવિ સુબ્રમણ્યમ ભારતીની સંપૂર્ણ રચનાઓના સંકલનનું વિમોચન કર્યું

આ પ્રોજેક્ટ્સમાં અન્ય રેલવે પ્રોજેક્ટ્સની સાથે ન્યૂ પંડિત દીનદયાળ ઉપાધ્યાય નગર-ન્યૂ ભાઉપુર ડેડિકેટેડ ફ્રેઇટ કોરિડોર પ્રોજેક્ટનું ઉદઘાટન સામેલ છે. તેમણે નવા ઉદ્ઘાટન થયેલા ડેડિકેટેડ ફ્રેઇટ કોરિડોર ખાતે વારાણસી-નવી દિલ્હી વંદે ભારત એક્સપ્રેસ ટ્રેન, દોહરીઘાટ-મઉ મેમુ ટ્રેન અને લાંબા અંતરની માલગાડીઓની જોડીને લીલી ઝંડી આપી હતી. તેમણે બનારસ લોકોમોટિવ વર્ક્સ દ્વારા બનાવવામાં આવેલા 10,000માં એન્જિનને લીલી ઝંડી પણ આપી હતી. તેમણે 370 કરોડથી વધુના ખર્ચે બે આરઓબી સાથે ગ્રીન-ફિલ્ડ શિવપુર-ફુલવારિયા-લહરતારા રોડનું લોકાર્પણ કર્યું હતું. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ ઉદઘાટન કરેલા અન્ય મુખ્ય પ્રોજેક્ટ્સમાં 20 માર્ગોને મજબૂત અને પહોળા કરવાનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. કૈથી ગામમાં સંગમ ઘાટ રોડ અને પંડિત દીનદયાળ ઉપાધ્યાય હોસ્પિટલમાં રહેણાંક મકાનોનું નિર્માણ, પોલીસ લાઇન અને પીએસી ભુલનપુરમાં 200 અને 150 બેડની બે બહુમાળી બેરેકની ઇમારતો, 9 સ્થળોએ સ્માર્ટ બસ આશ્રયસ્થાનો અને અલાઇપુરમાં 132 કિલોવોટ સબસ્ટેશનનું નિર્માણ. તેમણે સ્માર્ટ સિટી મિશન અંતર્ગત યુનિફાઇડ ટૂરિસ્ટ પાસ સિસ્ટમનો પણ શુભારંભ કરાવ્યો હતો.પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ જયપુરમાં ધાનક્ય ખાતે પંડિત દીનદયાળ ઉપાધ્યાયને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ અર્પી
