The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Narendra Modi has approved construction of 4-Lane Access-Controlled National Highway-927 from Barabanki to Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh worth Rs.6969.04 crore. પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે પુડુચેરીમાં ₹2,700 કરોડથી વધુના મૂલ્યના બહુવિધ વિકાસ પ્રોજેક્ટ્સનું ઉદ્ઘાટન કર્યું અને શિલાન્યાસ કર્યો. આ પ્રોજેક્ટ્સ લોકોના જીવનમાં પરિવર્તન લાવવા માટે ઇન્ફ્રાસ્ટ્રક્ચર, શિક્ષણ, આરોગ્ય અને ગતિશીલતા (મોબિલિટી) સહિતના મુખ્ય ક્ષેત્રોને આવરી લે છે.મંત્રીમંડળે આસામમાં બ્રહ્મપુત્ર નદી નીચે બે-લેન, ટ્વીન-ટ્યુબ, TBM રોડ પાણીની અંદર ટનલના નિર્માણને મંજૂરી આપી છે. એક ટ્યુબમાં રેલવે માળખાગત સુવિધા પણ હશે. તેની કુલ લંબાઈ 33.7 કિમી હશે

પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીની અધ્યક્ષતામાં આર્થિક બાબતોની મંત્રીમંડળ સમિતિએ ગઈકાલે NH-15 પર ગોહપુરથી 715 સેક્શન પર નુમાલીગઢ સુધી 4-લેન એક્સેસ-કંટ્રોલ્ડ ગ્રીનફિલ્ડ કનેક્ટિવિટીના બાંધકામને મંજૂરી આપી છે, જેમાં બ્રહ્મપુત્ર નદી હેઠળ 15.79 કિમી રોડ-કમ-રેલ ટનલનો સમાવેશ થાય છે, જેનો કુલ મૂડી ખર્ચ રૂ. 18,662 કરોડના એન્જિનિયરિંગ પ્રોક્યોરમેન્ટ કન્સ્ટ્રક્શન (EPC) પર આસામમાં વિકસાવવામાં આવશે.
