Cabinet approves Continuation of the Immigration, Visa, Foreigners Registration & Tracking (lVFRT) Scheme

The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the continuation of the Immigration, Visa, Foreigners Registration & Tracking (IVFRT) Scheme beyond 31 March 2026 for a period of five years, with a budget outlay of Rs. 1,800 crore. The continuation of the project is a strategic transformation aligned with the Government of India's vision to promote international mobility. This will give a boost to the tourism, medical and business sectors.

પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદી 14 ફેબ્રુઆરી, 2026ના રોજ આસામની મુલાકાત લેશે. સવારે આશરે 10:30 વાગ્યે પ્રધાનમંત્રી દિબ્રુગઢમાં મોરન બાયપાસ પર ઇમરજન્સી લેન્ડિંગ ફેસિલિટી (ELF) પર ઉતરાણ કરશે, જ્યાં તેઓ લડાયક વિમાનો, પરિવહન અને હેલિકોપ્ટરનું હવાઈ પ્રદર્શન જોશે. બપોરે આશરે 1 વાગ્યે પ્રધાનમંત્રી બ્રહ્મપુત્ર નદી પર કુમાર ભાસ્કર વર્મા સેતુની મુલાકાત લેશે. ત્યારબાદ બપોરે 1:30 વાગ્યે પ્રધાનમંત્રી ગુવાહાટીના લચિત ઘાટ ખાતે ₹5,450 કરોડથી વધુના વિવિધ પ્રોજેક્ટ્સનું ઉદ્ઘાટન અને લીલી ઝંડી આપશે.
