આજનો આ દિવસ કોઈ પુણ્ય પર્વથી ઓછો નથી। અહીં આવતા પહેલા હું સોમનાથ મંદિરમાં હતો. સોમનાથ મંદિરની પ્રાણ પ્રતિષ્ઠાના 75 વર્ષ પૂર્ણ થયા છે। સોમનાથ મંદિરની પુનઃસ્થાપના, આ સ્વપ્ન સરદાર પટેલના સંકલ્પથી જ પૂરું થયું હતું. આ અવસર પર, પ્રભાસ પાટણમાં સોમનાથ અમૃત મહોત્સવ મનાવવામાં આવી રહ્યો છે. અને તે જ દિવસે, અહીં વડોદરામાં સરદાર ધામ સાથે જોડાયેલા એક અત્યંત મહત્વપૂર્ણ પ્રોજેક્ટ્સનું લોકાર્પણ અને શિલાન્યાસ પણ થઈ રહ્યો છે. ડૉ. દુષ્યંત અને દક્ષા પટેલ કોમ્પ્લેક્સનું લોકાર્પણ, શિક્ષણ સહાય યોજનાનો શુભારંભ, નવી પરિયોજનાઓનું ભૂમિપૂજન, આ તમામ કાર્ય, ભવિષ્યમાં રાષ્ટ્ર નિર્માણના પ્રભાવી પ્રકલ્પ સાબિત થશે. એક રીતે, આ સંસ્થાન યુવાનો માટે ભવિષ્યની કારકિર્દીના launching pad નું કામ કરશે। હું આપ સૌને, સમાજના તમામ લોકોને આ પુણ્ય કાર્ય માટે ખૂબ-ખૂબ અભિનંદન આપું છું.

પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે ગુજરાતના વડોદરામાં સરદારધામ હોસ્ટેલનું ઉદઘાટન કર્યું હતું. સોમનાથ મંદિરના 75મા પ્રાણ પ્રતિષ્ઠા મહોત્સવના દિવસે જ વડોદરાના સરદાર ધામ ખાતે એક પ્રતિષ્ઠિત મેળાવડાને સંબોધતા પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થાઓના ઉદઘાટન અને આધ્યાત્મિક સ્મરણના શુભ સંયોગને ચિહ્નિત કર્યો હતો. શિક્ષણ સહાય યોજના શરૂ કરવાની સાથે ડો. દુષ્યંત અને દક્ષા પટેલ કોમ્પ્લેક્સનું ઉદઘાટન અને બહુવિધ શૈક્ષણિક પ્રોજેક્ટ્સ માટે ભૂમિપૂજન વિધિ સંપન્ન કરતા પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ આ પહેલોને યુવાનોની ભાવિ કારકિર્દી માટે 'લોન્ચિંગ પેડ' તરીકે ઓળખાવી હતી. થોડા કલાકો પહેલા જ હું પ્રભાસ પાટણમાં સોમનાથ અમૃત મહોત્સવની ઉજવણી કરી રહ્યો હતો અને હવે આપણે અહીં પરિવર્તનકારી શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થાઓનું ઉદઘાટન કરી રહ્યા છીએ, આ સમકાલીનતા પ્રતીક છે કે કેવી રીતે વારસો અને પ્રગતિ સાથે આગળ વધે છે, તેમ શ્રી મોદીએ અવલોકન કર્યું હતું.

સાથીઓ, ગઈકાલે દેશની કરોડો મહિલાઓની નજર સંસદ પર હતી, દેશની નારી શક્તિ જોઈ રહી હતી, મને પણ એ જોઈને ખૂબ દુઃખ થયું કે જ્યારે આ નારી હિતનો પ્રસ્તાવ પડતો મુકાયો, ત્યારે કોંગ્રેસ, ડીએમકે, ટીએમસી, સપા જેવા પરિવારવાદી પક્ષો ખુશીથી તાળીઓ વગાડી રહ્યા હતા. મહિલાઓ પાસેથી તેમના અધિકારો છીનવીને આ લોકો મેજ થપથપાવી રહ્યા હતા. તેમણે જે કર્યું તે માત્ર ટેબલ પર થાપ નહોતી, તે નારીના સ્વાભિમાન પર, તેના આત્મસન્માન પર પ્રહાર હતો અને નારી બધું ભૂલી જાય છે, પોતાનું અપમાન ક્યારેય ભૂલતી નથી, તેથી સંસદમાં કોંગ્રેસ અને તેના સહયોગીઓના તે વર્તનની ટીસ દરેક નારીના મનમાં હંમેશા રહેશે. દેશની નારી જ્યારે પણ પોતાના વિસ્તારમાં આ નેતાઓને જોશે, ત્યારે તે યાદ કરશે કે આ જ લોકોએ સંસદમાં મહિલા અનામતને રોકવાની ઉજવણી કરી હતી, ખુશીઓ મનાવી હતી. ગઈકાલે સંસદમાં નારી શક્તિ વંદન સુધારાનો જે પક્ષોએ વિરોધ કર્યો છે તેમને હું સ્પષ્ટ શબ્દોમાં કહીશ - આ લોકો નારી શક્તિને 'ફોર ગ્રાન્ટેડ' લઈ રહ્યા છે, તેઓ એ ભૂલી રહ્યા છે કે 21મી સદીની નારી દેશની દરેક ઘટના પર નજર રાખી રહી છે, તે તેમના ઈરાદાઓને પારખી રહી છે અને સત્ય પણ સારી રીતે જાણી ચૂકી છે. તેથી મહિલા અનામતનો વિરોધ કરીને જે પાપ વિપક્ષે કર્યું છે, તેની સજા તેમને ચોક્કસ મળશે. આ પક્ષોએ બંધારણ નિર્માતાઓની ભાવનાઓનું પણ અપમાન કર્યું છે અને જનતા દ્વારા અપાતી સજામાંથી તેઓ બચી શકશે નહીં.
