Cabinet approves Price Stabilization Fund for Scheduled Indian Airlines towards ATF pricing

The Union Cabinet chaired by PM Modi has approved a ₹10,000 crore ATF price stabilisation support mechanism to shield Indian airlines from global fuel volatility amid the West Asia crisis. The move will help maintain stable air connectivity, reduce fare volatility, support regional routes under UDAN and strengthen aviation-linked sectors including tourism, logistics and hospitality.
