Prime Minister holds bilateral talks with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia

During his visit to Ethiopia, PM Modi held discussions with Ethiopian PM Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali in Addis Ababa. Both leaders reviewed the entire spectrum of the bilateral relationship and agreed to elevate the ties to the level of a Strategic Partnership. PM Modi thanked Ethiopia for its solidarity in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack. At the invitation of HM King Abdullah II, PM Modi visited Jordan on December 15-16, 2025. Both the leaders positively assessed the multi-faceted India-Jordan relations that span across various areas of cooperation including political, economic, defence, security, culture and education among others. PM Modi addressed the Parliament of Namibia and expressed gratitude to the people of Namibia for conferring upon him their highest national honour. Recalling the historic ties and shared struggle for freedom between the two nations, he paid tribute to Dr. Sam Nujoma, the founding father of Namibia. હું રાષ્ટ્રપતિ લોરેન્કો અને તેમના પ્રતિનિધિમંડળનું ભારતમાં હૃદયપૂર્વક સ્વાગત કરું છું. આ એક ઐતિહાસિક ક્ષણ છે. 38 વર્ષ પછી અંગોલાના રાષ્ટ્રપતિ ભારતની મુલાકાતે આવી રહ્યા છે. તેમની મુલાકાત ભારત-અંગોલા સંબંધોને નવી દિશા અને ગતિ આપે છે એટલું જ નહીં પરંતુ ભારત-આફ્રિકા ભાગીદારીને પણ મજબૂત બનાવે છે.
