પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે મધ્યપ્રદેશના શહડોલ ખાતે રાષ્ટ્રીય સિકલ સેલ એનિમિયા નાબૂદી મિશનની શરૂઆત કરી હતી અને લાભાર્થીઓને સિકલ સેલ જિનેટિક સ્ટેટસ કાર્ડનું વિતરણ કર્યું હતું. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ મધ્યપ્રદેશમાં લગભગ 3.57 કરોડ આયુષ્માન ભારત પ્રધાનમંત્રી જન આરોગ્ય યોજના (AB-PMJAY) કાર્ડના વિતરણની શરૂઆત પણ કરી હતી. આ કાર્યક્રમ દરમિયાન, પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ 16મી સદીના મધ્યમાં ગોંડવાનાના શાસક રાણી દુર્ગાવતીના સન્માનમાં તેમને યાદ કર્યા હતા.
