Surat:  April, 12: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, will attend six programmes in south Gujarat on Friday, April, 13th. He will inaugurate a Wind Turbine Tower plant constructed at the cost of Rs. 75 crore of Feders Lloyd Corporation, as part of Rs. 300 crore MOU, that was signed during the last Vibrant Gujarat Industrial Investment Summit, at Jambusar taluka and also dedicate a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Jubilant Life Science Ltd, spread over 300 acres in Vilayat Industrial Estate in Vagra taluka of Bharuch district.

Chief Minister, as part of the celebration of Swami Vivekananda Youth Employment week, will give away Appointment Letters to 8858 unemployed youth of Surat, Valsad, Bharuch, Navsari, Tapi, Dangs and Narmada districts in South Gujarat at a glittering function, to be held at International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Surat in the evening. As many as 21512 candidates were selected from south Gujarat region during the campaign, of which, 8858 youth will be given away appointment letters at the function.

These skilled youth, selected during several industrial job fairs, will be employed at various industrial houses like Videocon, Balaji Wafers, Raymond’s Ltd, Alok Industries, Welspun, Mafatlal Denim Ltd, Parmesh Diamonds, J. K. Paper Mill, Construction Skill Training Institute of L&T, Reliance H.R. Service, Ambika Auto, Pantaloon Retails, Nanavati Motors, Nova Dye Stuff, Dhru Motors, Sachin Dyeing and Printing Mills and industrial units based in Apparel Park and Vareli in the South Gujarat region. It may be recalled that State Labour & Employment Department conducted a special drive of Industrial Job fairs from 15th November, 2011, in the state, as part of the celebrations of the 150th birth anniversary of swami Vivekananda. At least 400 officials of the department worked round the clock for the success of these 489 job fairs, in which 2287 employers and 1, 26, 610 candidates participated. Swami Vivekananda Yuva Rojgar Saptah (Youth Employment Week) that has been celebrated at Rajkot, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Surat during 9th April to 13th April 2012 in which appointment letters to around 65000 candidates will be distributed in presence of Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

Mr. Narendra Modi will address the beneficiaries of Garib Kalyan Mela through video conferencing from Surat district seva sadan. He will attend a grand felicitation function of Rajya Sabha MP Mansukh Mandavia in Katargam area of city, late in the evening. A number of senior ministers of cabinet and Assembly Speaker will also attend the function. Chief Minister will attend Naam Mahotsav at Beda Raipur village of Tapi district in the afternoon.

District Administration of Bharuch, Surat and Tapi all set to make these programmes success under the leadership of Bharuch Collector Roopwant Singh, Surat Collector A. J. Shah and Tapi Collector R. J. Patel.

The Prime Minster, Shri Narendra Modi has called upon yoga acharyas, and yoga pracharaks and everyone connected with yoga work to ensure that yoga reaches every corner of the world. He was speaking on the occasion of Seventh International Yoga Day.

Quoting from Gita, The Prime Minister said we need to continue moving on the collective journey of yoga as yoga has solution for everyone. Freedom from sufferings is yoga and it helps everyone, said the Prime Minster.

Noting the growing popularity and people’s interest in yoga the Prime Minister said, it is important that yoga reaches to every person while keeping intact its foundation and core. Yoga acharyas and all of us should contribute in this task of taking yoga to everyone, said the Prime Minister.
