CM inaugurates new high-tech complex of ATS

Chief Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated a new high-tech complex of Anti Terrorist Squad  (ATS) near Charodi on Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar highway.

 

Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister said that since Gujarat is located on border the anti terrorist squad holds more significance. Keeping in view the importance of ATS the new complex has been constructed which is equipped with latest technologies.

 

On the occasion the Chief Minister also launched a guide-CD related to coastal security.

 

The Chief Minister also took view of various departments of the new complex and sought details of the preparedness of Gujarat police against terroristattacks.  Home Minister Prafull Patel, Principal Secretary for Home Dr.S.K.Nanda, DGP Chitranjan Singh, ATS chief Mr. Suroliya and senior police officials were present on the occasion.
