Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi inaugurated J.P Cement plant at Sevagram-Vayor of Abdasa Taluka of Kutch –today. He gave a call to the industries for setting-up a skill up -gradation network in Solar-Energy sector. Kutch has immense potential and capabilities, environment technology centre may conduct courses in Solar-Energy and Non-Conventional energy .
The Jayprakash Associates operates in Infrastructure development. Their plant, in the first phase invested Rs.3000 crores, having Cement production capacity of 24 Lakh metric tons per annum. The 2nd phase doubles the production capacity. Chief Minister inaugurated 45 mega-watt captive-power -plant today. It is to be noted that Shri Narendrabhai had laid foundation stone of the plant in year 2006. Shri Jayprakash Industries have made great contribution in the development of Gujarat. Considering the rapid strides made by Gujarat, it has become the need of the hour to seek constructive contributions from such groups.
The positive attitude of the society fosters cohesive environment for industries. Gujarat is on every Investor’s radar. As per the MoUs made, 40 companies have come forward to set-up Cement Plant. Gujarat alone produces 20 billion tons of Cement. Honoring their social responsibilities, various industries have come forward to initiate I.T.I and vocational courses.
Shri Jayprakashji has taken up the social cause with a missionary zeal. He has taken up various social activities. Gujarat is celebrating ‘Swarnim-Jayanti’ in 2010. Chief Minister expressed his desire that Gujarat would scale sublime heights in Industries, Agriculture and Dairies, and in service sectors.
On the pious occasion of Datta-Jayanti, Chief Minister proposed Shri Jayprakashji- Founder of J.P.Group- to build modern Dharma-Shala near Datta Temple.
Founder of the J.P. Group of Industries, Shri Jayprakashji said, “ Gujarat is the most vibrant state having great development potential. Our group would continue to contribute to the development journey of Gujarat. We would also continue to expand our base in Gujarat.”
Chairman J.P.Gujarat Cement, Shri Manoj Gor observed that Gujarat is an excellent destination to thrive and progress. He expressed his keenness to offer employment options to the people of Kutch.
