On Friday 28th June 2013 Shri Narendra Modi condoled the demise of former Union Minister Smt. Bhavnaben Chikhalia. Smt. Chikhalia served as a Lok Sabha MP from Junagadh and a Minister of State in the NDA Government led by Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Shri Modi Tweeted, “Sad to know of demise of former Union Minister Bhavnaben Chikhalia. We have lost a dedicated Karyakarta in her. May her soul rest in peace.”

Shri Modi lauds the Special Campaign 4.0 which achieved substantial outcomes including Rs 2,364 Cr for State exchequer

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today lauded the Special Campaign 4.0, India's largest campaign of its kind, which achieved substantial outcomes including Rs 2,364 Cr (since 2021) for State exchequer simply by disposing off scrap. He remarked that Collective efforts can lead to sustainable results, promoting both cleanliness and economic prudence.
