CM condoles death of Homi Vyarawalla

Chief Minister Narendra Modi condoles the death of India's first woman Photo Journalist Homi Vyarawalla who hailed from Navsari District, Gujarat.

CM Narendra Modi tweeted on social network 'Twitter', "Sad to know of demise of Homai Vyarawalla, India's 1st woman photo journalist. Received her blessings at Vadodara Sadbhavana fast recently"

At the onset of the World War II, Homi Vyarawalla has started working on assignments of the Bombay based The Illustrated Weekly of India magazine. She shot many political and national leaders and had a treasure trove of stories about India's tallest leaders.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi have a memorable meet of the Journalist during her recent visit to his Sadbhavana Mission at Vadodara where she had settled after the death of her husband in 1973.
