Chief Minister launches Mobile Cancer Hospital Unit

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi on Wednesday 7th October launched the Mobile Cancer Hospital Unit, Sanjivani Rath. In collaboration with Gujarat Cancer Society, the Government of Gujarat has gifted the people of the state with first Mobile Cancer Hospital Unit. This is the first joint venture between the two parties.

1.2 crore has been invested for this unit with the aim to provide mobile facility to treat cancer patients. This unit is developed with all the latest Ultra Modern equipment and is considered to be the first dedicated mobile facility for Cancer Patients. It also has access to telemedicine facility to connect with Cancer Hospital through communication.

On the birth-anniversary of Jay Prakash Narayan, on 11th October, the first cancer detection camp will be organized.
