In a meet to review activities carried out under Samay Dan campaign during last two months, Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi indicated that the State Government will honour a certificate to about 1000 youths who gave their best contribution for 100 hours for the welfare of society. He expressed desire to stir up the campaign to the level of a huge youth-movement.

He said that the campaign is an opportunity to involve youths for bringing grass-rooted changes in society. He pointed out that State Government is receiving great response in Samay Dan campaign from the youths. More youth involvement is needed even in initiatives like Vanche Gujarat, Khelkud Mahakumbh, Gunotsav and in the activities like tree planting, NCC, NSS, malnutrition removal etc.

Working Chairman of Swarnim Jyanti Celebration Committee Shri I.K.Jadeja, Principal Secretary to Education Department Shri Hasmukh Adhiya along with Principal Secretaries to Environment and Forest Department and Urban Development Department participated in the meet.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi met today with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting reviewed progress on various ongoing bilateral initiatives, including those taken under the aegis of the Strategic Partnership Council established between both countries. Prime Minister expressed India's keenness to see greater investment from Saudi Arabia, including in key sectors like energy, IT and defence manufacturing.

The meeting also allowed exchange of perspectives on regional developments, including the situation in Afghanistan.

Prime Minister conveyed his special thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for looking after the welfare of the Indian diaspora during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prime Minister also conveyed his warm greetings and regards to His Majesty the King and His Highness the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
