Cabinet approves two multitracking projects covering 5 Districts of West Bengal and Jharkhand, increasing the existing network of Indian Railways by about 192 Kms

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved two railway projects worth ₹4,474 crore, covering five districts across West Bengal and Jharkhand. Planned under the PM-Gati Shakti National Master Plan, these projects are in line with the PM's New India vision to make the people of the region “Atmanirbhar”.
