আজ আমি একটি অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় নিয়ে বিশেষ করে দেশের মা-বোন ও কন্যাদের সঙ্গে কথা বলতে এসেছি। আজ ভারতের প্রতিটি নাগরিক দেখছেন, কীভাবে ভারতের নারীশক্তির উড়ানকে থামিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। তাঁদের স্বপ্নগুলো নির্মমভাবে পিষে ফেলা হয়েছে। আমাদের সর্বোচ্চ প্রচেষ্টা সত্ত্বেও আমরা সফল হতে পারিনি—“নারী শক্তি বন্দন অধিনিয়ম”-এ সংশোধন করা সম্ভব হয়নি। আর এর জন্য আমি দেশের সমস্ত মা-বোনদের কাছে ক্ষমাপ্রার্থী।প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী জাতির উদ্দেশে ভাষণ দিয়েছেন

ভারতের মা, বোন ও কন্যাদের সঙ্গে সম্পর্কিত অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ একটি বিষয়ে জাতির উদ্দেশে ভাষণ দিতে গিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী মহিলাদের অগ্রগতির পথে সৃষ্ট বাধার কারণে গভীর দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেছেন। তিনি উল্লেখ করেন যে, সরকারের সর্বাত্মক ও আন্তরিক প্রচেষ্টা সত্ত্বেও 'নারী শক্তি বন্দন অধিনিয়ম' সংশোধনীটি পাস হতে ব্যর্থ হয়েছে, যা কার্যত দেশের নারী সমাজের ন্যায্য স্বপ্নগুলোকে চূর্ণ করে দিয়েছে। শ্রী মোদী বলেন, এই দুর্ভাগ্যজনক পরিণতির জন্য আমি জাতির সকল মা ও বোনদের কাছে গভীর দুঃখ প্রকাশ করছি।West Bengal's decline came under Congress, then Left, now TMC: PM Modi in Cooch Behar

আসামের সংযোগ ব্যবস্থা, অর্থনৈতিক সম্প্রসারণ এবং বৈশ্বিক যোগাযোগের ক্ষেত্রে একটি যুগান্তকারী মাইলফলক হিসেবে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী আজ গুয়াহাটিতে লোকপ্রিয় গোপীনাথ বরদলৈ আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরের নতুন টার্মিনাল ভবনের উদ্বোধন করেছেন। এই উপলক্ষে সমাবেশে ভাষণ দিতে গিয়ে শ্রী মোদী বলেন যে, আজ আসাম এবং উত্তর-পূর্বাঞ্চলের উন্নয়ন ও অগ্রগতির উৎসব। তিনি বলেন যে, যখন অগ্রগতির আলো মানুষের কাছে পৌঁছায়, তখন জীবনের প্রতিটি পথ নতুন উচ্চতা স্পর্শ করতে শুরু করে। প্রধানমন্ত্রী আরও বলেন যে, আসামের মাটির প্রতি তাঁর গভীর ভালোবাসা, এখানকার মানুষের স্নেহ ও ভালোবাসা এবং বিশেষ করে আসাম এবং উত্তর-পূর্বাঞ্চলের মা ও বোনেদের উষ্ণতা আর আপন করে নেওয়ার অনুভূতি তাঁকে ক্রমাগত অনুপ্রাণিত করে এবং এই অঞ্চলের উন্নয়নের জন্য সম্মিলিত সংকল্পকে শক্তিশালী করে। তিনি বলেন যে, আজ আবারও আসামের উন্নয়নে একটি নতুন অধ্যায় যুক্ত হলো। ভারতরত্ন ভূপেন হাজারিকার গানের পঙক্তি উল্লেখ করে শ্রী মোদী জোর দিয়ে বলেন যে, এর অর্থ হলো,, মহান ব্রহ্মপুত্র নদের তীর আলোকিত হবে, অন্ধকারের প্রতিটি প্রাচীর ভেঙে যাবে এবং এটি অবশ্যই ঘটবে কারণ এটি জাতির সংকল্প ও দৃঢ় অঙ্গীকার।West Bengal must be freed from TMC’s Maha Jungle Raj: PM Modi at Nadia virtual rally
