Cabinet approves integration and continuation of two schemes under umbrella scheme SARTHAK-PDS

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by PM Modi, has approved the continuation of SARTHAK PDS as an umbrella scheme with a Central outlay of ₹25,530 crore. Equipped with advanced technologies such as AI, ML, NLP and Blockchain, the scheme aims to ensure last-mile service delivery, minimize leakages and strengthen the nation’s commitment to food security under the NFSA.
