The President and Prime Minister participated in a programme at Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district, marking the completion of two years of the Government of Odisha. The theme of the programme is “Vikas ra Dhara, Odisha Sara”. Shri Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth over ₹47,600 crore.

আমার প্রিয় দেশবাসী, নমস্কার। ‘মন কী বাত’-এ আবারও আপনাদের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হয়ে আমি অত্যন্ত আনন্দিত। দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্তে আমাদের দেশের মানুষ দেশের স্বার্থে, সমাজের স্বার্থে এমন অসাধারণ সব কাজ করছেন এবং যখন তাঁদের সম্পর্কে শুনি, তখন আমরা নতুন প্রেরণা পাই। আজকের অনুষ্ঠানের সূচনা আমি অ্যাথলেটিক্সে দেশের তেমনই এক কৃতিত্বের কথা দিয়ে করব। কয়েকদিন আগেই ঝাড়খণ্ডের রাঁচিতে ন্যাশনাল সিনিয়র অ্যাথলেটিক্স ফেডারেশন প্রতিযোগিতা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এতে সারা দেশ থেকে প্রায় ৮০০ অ্যাথলিট অংশ নিয়েছেন। এই প্রতিযোগিতা চলাকালীন চারটি ভিন্ন ভিন্ন ইভেন্টে চারটি জাতীয় রেকর্ড ভাঙা হয়েছে। ভেঙেছেন গুরিন্দরবীর সিং, বিশাল টিকে, তেজস্বীন শঙ্কর, দেব মীণা এবং কুলদীপ কুমার। এই সাথীরা আলাদা-আলাদা ক্যাটেগরিতে নতুন রেকর্ড গড়েছেন। আমি সর্বপ্রথম এদের সকলকে অনেক-অনেক অভিনন্দন জানাই।
