উন্নয়নের লক্ষ্যে ভারতের যাত্রাপথে আজকের দিনটি হল এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ মাইল ফলক! কারণ আজকের বাজেট হল ১৪০ কোটি ভারতবাসীর আশা-আকাঙ্খা পূরণের এক বিশেষ প্রতিশ্রুতি। প্রত্যেক ভারতীয়র স্বপ্নের বাস্তবায়ন ঘটতে চলেছে এই বাজেটের মধ্য দিয়ে। দেশের যুবসমাজের জন্য আমরা অনেকগুলি ক্ষেত্রের দ্বারই উন্মুক্ত করে দিয়েছি। উন্নত ভারত গঠনের সংকল্পকে বাস্তবায়নের পথে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাবেন দেশের সাধারণ নাগরিকরাই। সেই অর্থে এবারের বাজেট হল আমাদের বহুগুণ শক্তি বৃদ্ধির এক বিশেষ দ্যোতক। এবারের বাজেটের মধ্য দিয়ে একদিকে যেমন মানুষের সঞ্চয় বৃদ্ধি পেতে চলেছে, অন্যদিকে তেমনি বিনিয়োগ বৃদ্ধির পাশাপাশি সাধারণ নাগরিকরা আরও বেশি মাত্রায় ভোগ্যপণ্য ক্রয়ের সুযোগ লাভ করবেন। এসমস্ত কিছুর মধ্য দিয়ে দেশের উন্নয়নের গতি হবে দ্রুত থেকে দ্রুততর। জনতা অর্থাৎ সাধারণ মানুষের এই বাজেট উপহার দেওয়ার জন্য আমি অর্থমন্ত্রী নির্মলা সীতারমন জি এবং তাঁর সমগ্র টিমকে অভিনন্দন জানাই।
