প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী আজ উত্তর প্রদেশের জেওয়ারে অবস্থিত নয়ডা আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরের উদ্বোধন করলেন। এই উপলক্ষে নিজের গর্ব ও আনন্দ প্রকাশ করে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন যে, আজকের দিনটি ‘উন্নত ইউপি, উন্নত ভারত’ অভিযানের ইতিহাসে এক নতুন অধ্যায়ের সূচনা করল। তিনি উল্লেখ করেন যে, ভারতের বৃহত্তম এই রাজ্যটি এখন সেইসব রাজ্যের অন্যতম হয়ে উঠেছে, যেখানে আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরের সংখ্যা সর্বাধিক। প্রধানমন্ত্রী মোদী জানান যে, তিনি আজ দ্বিগুণ গর্ব অনুভব করছেন—প্রথমত, কারণ তিনি নিজেই এই বিমানবন্দরের ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন করেছিলেন এবং আজ এর উদ্বোধন করছেন; আর দ্বিতীয়ত, কারণ এই বিশাল বিমানবন্দরের নামটি উত্তর প্রদেশের সঙ্গে যুক্ত। শ্রী মোদী মন্তব্য করেন, “এটিই সেই রাজ্য, যারা আমাকে তাদের প্রতিনিধি হিসেবে বেছে নিয়েছিল এবং আমাকে সংসদ সদস্য করেছিল; আর এখন এই চমৎকার বিমানবন্দরের সঙ্গে তাদের পরিচয়ও ওতপ্রোতভাবে জড়িয়ে গেল।”
