বাবা তারকনাথের এবং বাংলার এই পবিত্র ভূমিতে, পশ্চিমবঙ্গ দিবসে, আপনাদের সকলের এমন বিপুল উপস্থিতিতে, নির্বাচন ও শপথ গ্রহণের পর এই প্রথমবার আপনাদের মাঝে আসার সৌভাগ্য আমার হলো। বাংলার বাতাসে এক নতুন সতেজতা, প্রতিটি কণা থেকে এক নতুন সুবাস ভেসে আসছে। মনে হচ্ছে যেন বাংলা এখন শৃঙ্খলমুক্ত হয়েছে। যেন বাংলার গৌরব পুনরুদ্ধারের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে। আজকের এই কর্মসূচি, এই প্রকল্পগুলির উদ্বোধন, এই সত্যেরই সাক্ষ্য বহন করে যে আমাদের বাংলা এক নতুন ভবিষ্যৎ গড়ার কাজে নিয়োজিত। বাংলার মানুষের মুখের সেই দীপ্তি, প্রতিটি গ্রামের আনন্দ ও আত্মবিশ্বাসের অনুভূতি — আমি আপনাদের সেই আনন্দে অংশীদার হতে এসেছি। আপনার একটি ভোট, একটি নির্বাচন, কত বড় পরিবর্তন আনতে পারে, তা বাংলায় স্পষ্ট দেখা যাচ্ছে।পশ্চিমবঙ্গের হুগলিতে ‘পশ্চিমবঙ্গ দিবস’ উদযাপনে অংশগ্রহণ প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর
