প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী আজ গুজরাটের সোমনাথে ‘সোমনাথ স্বাভিমান পর্ব’- এ ভাষণ দেন। এই উপলক্ষে ভাষণ দিতে গিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন যে, এই সময়টি অসাধারণ, এই পরিবেশ অসাধারণ এবং এই উদযাপনও অসাধারণ। তিনি বলেন যে, একদিকে স্বয়ং ভগবান মহাদেব এবং অন্যদিকে সমুদ্রের বিশাল ঢেউ, সূর্যের কিরণ, মন্ত্রের অনুরণন এবং ভক্তির জোয়ার। তিনি বলেন যে, এই দিব্য পরিবেশে ভগবান সোমনাথের সকল ভক্তের উপস্থিতি এই অনুষ্ঠানকে আরও দিব্য ও মহিমান্বিত করে তুলেছে। শ্রী মোদী বলেন যে, সোমনাথ মন্দির ট্রাস্টের চেয়ারম্যান হিসেবে ‘সোমনাথ স্বাভিমান পর্ব’- এ সক্রিয়ভাবে সেবা করার সুযোগ পেয়ে তিনি নিজেকে অত্যন্ত ভাগ্যবান মনে করেন। তিনি ৭২ ঘণ্টা ধরে ওঙ্কার মন্ত্রের অবিরাম জপ এবং ৭২ ঘণ্টা ধরে মন্ত্র পাঠের কথা উল্লেখ করেন। তিনি বলেন যে, গতকাল সন্ধ্যায় এক হাজার ড্রোন এবং বৈদিক গুরুকুলের এক হাজার ছাত্রের উপস্থিতিতে সোমনাথের হাজার বছরের ইতিহাস তুলে ধরা হয়েছিল এবং আজ ১০৮টি ঘোড়া নিয়ে ‘শৌর্য যাত্রা’ মন্দিরে এসে পৌঁছেছে। তিনি জোর দিয়ে বলেন যে, মন্ত্র ও ভজনের মনোমুগ্ধকর পরিবেশনা ভাষায় প্রকাশ করা সম্ভব নয়, এই অভিজ্ঞতা কেবল সময়ই ধারণ করতে পারে। প্রধানমন্ত্রী বলেন যে, এই উদযাপন গর্ব ও সম্মান, মর্যাদা ও জ্ঞান, মহিমা ও ঐতিহ্য, আধ্যাত্মিকতা ও উপলব্ধি, অভিজ্ঞতা, আনন্দ এবং অন্তরঙ্গতার প্রতীক। সর্বোপরি, তিনি জোর দিয়ে বলেন, এটি ভগবান মহাদেবের আশীর্বাদ বহন করে।
