PM Modi addressed a large and enthusiastic gathering in Sitamarhi, Bihar, seeking blessings at the sacred land of Mata Sita and underlining the deep connection between faith and nation building. Recalling the events of November 8 2019, when he had prayed for a favourable Ayodhya judgment before inauguration duties the next day, he said today he had come to Sitamarhi to seek the people’s blessings for a Viksit Bihar. He reminded voters that this election will decide the future of Bihar’s youth and urged them to vote for progress.

Cabinet approves semiconductor manufacturing units in ODISHA, PUNJAB and ANDHRA PRADESH worth Rs.4600 crore

The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi, has approved four semiconductor projects worth ₹4,600 crore under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM). These projects will give a major boost to India’s semiconductor ecosystem, including the country’s first commercial compound fab and an advanced glass-based substrate packaging unit, and are expected to create jobs for 2,034 skilled professionals.

আমার প্রিয় দেশবাসী, নমস্কার। ‘মন কি বাত’ এ আবার একবার কথা হবে দেশের সাফল্য, দেশবাসীর অভিজ্ঞতা নিয়ে। গত কয়েক সপ্তাহে sports, science, সংস্কৃতি ইত্যাদি অনেক বিষয়ে এমন কিছু ঘটনা ঘটেছে যার জন্য প্রত্যেক ভারতবাসী গর্বিত। অতি সম্প্রতি শুভাংশু শুক্লার মহাকাশ থেকে প্রত্যাবর্তন নিয়ে দেশে জোরদার আলোচনা হয়েছে। যখন শুভাংশু সুরক্ষিতভাবে পৃথিবীতে অবতরণ করেছেন, লোকজন উৎসাহে ফেটে পড়েছে। তাদের মনে খুশির ঢেউ উঠেছে। পুরো দেশ গর্বে ভরে গেছে। আমার মনে আছে, ২০২৩ সালের অগাস্ট মাসে যখন চন্দ্রযান ৩-এর সফল অবতরণ হয়েছিল, তখন দেশে এক নতুন উদ্দীপনা তৈরী হয়েছিল। Science নিয়ে, space নিয়ে বাচ্চাদের মধ্যে এক নতুন কৌতুহল জেগে উঠেছিল। এখন ছোট ছোট বাচ্চারা বলে আমিও space এ যাবো, আমিও চাঁদে অবতরণ করবো, space scientist হবো।

আজকের দিনটি ভারতের বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি ক্ষেত্রে এক বিশেষ দিন। একবিংশ শতকের ভারত বিজ্ঞান, প্রযুক্তি এবং গবেষণাকে অগ্রাধিকার দিয়ে কিভাবে এগিয়ে চলেছে, আজকের দিনটি তারও এক নিদর্শন। ভারত আজ সম্ভাবনার সীমাহীন বিস্তৃতির মধ্যে নতুন সুযোগ তৈরি করছে। আমাদের বিজ্ঞানী ও ইঞ্জিনিয়াররা তিনটি পরম রুদ্র সুপার কম্পিউটার তৈরি করেছেন। অত্যাধুনিক এই সুপার কম্পিউটারগুলি দিল্লি, পুণে ও কলকাতায় স্থাপন করা হয়েছে। এছাড়া দুটি উচ্চ ক্ষমতাসম্পন্ন কম্পিউটিং সিস্টেম অর্ক এবং অরুণিকারও সূচনা হয়েছে। এই বিশেষ উপলক্ষে আমি দেশের বিজ্ঞানী সম্প্রদায়, ইঞ্জিনিয়ার ও নাগরিকদের অন্তরের অভিনন্দন জানাই।

প্রধানমন্ত্রী শ্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী প্রায় ১৩০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ে নির্মিত ৩টি পরম রুদ্র সুপার কম্পিউটার আজ ভিডিও কনফারেন্সিং-এর মাধ্যমে জাতির উদ্দেশে উৎসর্গ করেছেন। ন্যাশনাল সুপার কম্পিউটিং মিশন (এনএসএম)-এর আওতায় নির্মিত এই তিনটি সুপার কম্পিউটার বৈজ্ঞানিক গবেষণায় সাহায্য করতে পুণে, দিল্লি ও কলকাতায় স্থাপন করা হয়েছে। প্রধানমন্ত্রী আবহাওয়া এবং জলবায়ু সংক্রান্ত গবেষণার জন্য বিশেষ ভাবে নির্মিত উচ্চ ক্ষমতাসম্পন্ন কম্পিউটিং সিস্টেমেরও (এইচপিসি) উদ্বোধন করেন।
