PM Modi launched multiple development projects worth over ₹9,000 crore in Aizawl, Mizoram. Describing the day as historic, he said that from today Aizawl will be on India’s railway map with the inauguration of the Bairabi–Sairang rail line. He remarked that projects in Railways, Roadways, Energy, and Sports will transform lives, empower youth, and boost markets, tourism, education, and healthcare.

PM Modi will be on a 3 day visit to Mizoram, Manipur, Assam, West Bengal and Bihar from 13th to 15th Sep. In Mizoram, he will inaugurate the Bairabi-Sairang New Rail line. In Manipur, he will launch projects worth over ₹7,300 crore. The PM will join Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’s centenary celebrations in Assam. In West Bengal, he will address the Combined Commanders’ Conference in Kolkata. In Bihar, PM Modi will unveil the new Purnea Airport terminal and launch the National Makhana Board.

প্রধানমন্ত্রী হিসেবে আমার প্রথমবারের মত মিজোরাম আসার সুযোগ হয়েছে|উত্তর-পূর্ব রাজ্যগুলো, যাদের আমরা আট বোন হিসেবে উল্লেখ করি, এদের মধ্যে এটাই একরাজ্য ছিল যেখানে প্রধানমন্ত্রী হিসেবে এখন পর্যন্ত আমি আসতে পারিনি| এর জন্য আমিসবার আগে আপনাদের কাছে ক্ষমাপ্রার্থী| যদিও প্রধানমন্ত্রী হওয়ার আগে আমি অনেকবারমিজোরাম এসেছি| এখানকার শান্ত ও সুন্দর পরিবেশের সঙ্গে আমি ভালোভাবে পরিচিত|
