Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed three major public meetings in Bhilwara, Beneshwar Dham and Kota in Rajasthan, the state is scheduled to head to the polls for the state Assembly on 7th December, 2018.

In Bhilwara, PM Modi began his address by remembering the citizens and the security forces martyred in the terrorist attacks that took place in Mumbai on this day in 2008. On this occasion, he also heavily criticized the Congress party for its double standards with regards to the national security of India.

He said, “They were preaching lessons on patriotism to everybody when the attacks happened. But when my government asked our security forces to launch surgical strikes against the terrorists in their own territory, these same Congress leaders were asking for evidence of the surgical strikes.

This is absolutely unacceptable to the country.” He further stated that the country will never forget the 26/11 Mumbai Terror attacks or its perpetrators and that he will ensure justice for the victims. He also took on the Congress for neglecting the health and well-being of poor women due to the poor household coverage of LPG gas cylinders in the country and said, “Their (Congress’) leader was born with a golden spoon, Modi was not..

I have seen the troubles my poor mother faced while cooking with firewood. And that is why my government has worked tirelessly and ensured 90% coverage of LPG gas cylinders for the poor women of my country.”

PM Modi, while addressing another such event in Beneshwar Dham, appreciated the huge contributions made by the tribal communities of India. On this occasion, he severely criticized the Congress and its leaders for ignoring the plight of the tribal communities and instead serving their own families first.

Remembering how it was a BJP government led by former PM Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee that first created a separate Ministry for Tribal communities even after decades of independence, he said, “Congress never thought about the welfare of tribal communities.

It took a BJP government led by Atal Ji to form a separate Ministry that works for the development of tribal communities in the country.”

Prime Minister Modi later went to Kota to his third rally today where in continuation with his fiercely critical tone against the Congress, PM Modi attacked the Congress for the massive problem of corruption that was prevailing in the country pre-2014. In this context, he said, “When we came to power, we began investigations and curbed corruption.

Nearly 90,000 crore rupees which earlier went into the pockets of the corrupt have since been saved in the state exchequer.” Concluding his address at the last rally for the day, PM Modi urged his supporters to vote in the upcoming elections in huge numbers for the BJP government led by CM Vasundhara Raje and ensure that this rapid pace of development in Rajasthan continues in the future.
