PM makes surprise visit to Mandir Marg police station, New Delhi

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today paid a surprise visit to the Mandir Marg police station in New Delhi.

As he was on the way to Valmiki Basti, he requested the official motorcade to be stopped at Mandir Marg Police Station. Noting the dirt at the venue, the Prime Minister himself picked up a broom to clean dirt.

Police officials rushed to the Prime Minister after noticing him. The Prime Minister later exhorted police officials to maintain cleanliness, before proceeding to Valmiki Basti.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi said that robust 8.4% GDP growth in Q3 2023-24 shows the strength of Indian economy and its potential. He also reiterated that our efforts will continue to bring fast economic growth which shall help 140 crore Indians lead a better life and create a Viksit Bharat.
