Hon'ble CM releases' Gujarat Deepotsavi-2066

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, released 'Gujarat Deepotsavi -2066' at Gandhinagar. Considered to be a literature-bonanza, it grabs the eyeballs of Gujarati readers, the Deepotsavi issue has carved out a special niche in the hearts of the readers.

The capacious issue is spruced up and decorated with short-stories, poems, plays, humorous- anecdotes and research articles, in different sections. It also consists pictures and landscapes by distinguished photographers and artists.

The contribution made by renowned and accomplished writers is making it more attractive for the readers. Chief Minister gave compliments to the editorial wing of Information Department.

Information & Broadcasting Secretary and Principal Secretary to C.M Shri K.Kailasnathan, Information Commissioner Shri Bhagyesh Jha, Joint Director Shri Arvind Patel, Executive Editor Shri Pulak Trivedi, Director of Electronic Media Shri Dhiren Avasiya, and the Karmayogies of Information Department were present on the occasion.

The Deepotsavi issue, costing Rs.40/ per copy, is available at all district and regional information offices besides Commissionerate of Information Gandhinagar.

The Prime Minister remarked today that it was a matter of immense pride for India that Archbishop George Koovakad will be created as a Cardinal by His Holiness Pope Francis.

The Prime Minister’s Office handle in a post on X said:

“It is a matter of immense pride for India that Archbishop George Koovakad will be created as a Cardinal by His Holiness Pope Francis.

The Government of India sent a delegation led by Union Minister Shri George Kurian to witness this Ceremony.

Prior to the Ceremony, the Indian delegation also called on His Holiness Pope Francis.
