The Union Cabinet has approved Phase 2A of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project, a 6.032 Km with 05 stations connecting key urban areas to Ahmedabad Airport. The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the launch of the Urban Challenge Fund (UCF) with a total Central Assistance of Rs. one lakh crore. This will lead to a total investment of Rs. four lakh crore in the urban sector over the next five years.
