Cabinet approves Rs.7,280 Crore for Sintered Rare Earth Permanent Magnets Scheme

The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the 'Scheme to Promote Manufacturing of Sintered Rare Earth Permanent Magnets' with an outlay of Rs. 7,280 crore. The initiative aims to establish 6,000 MTPA of integrated Rare Earth Permanent Magnet manufacturing in India, boosting self-reliance and strengthening India's position in the global market.
