Prime Minister calls on the President of Italy

PM Modi met Italian President Sergio Mattarella in Rome. The two leaders noted the upward trajectory in India-Italy strategic partnership and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing cooperation in multiple sectors. They also discussed the significance of the multimodal IMEC for ensuring maritime security, digital connectivity and energy supplies and exchanged views on the conflicts in West Asia and Europe.
