Cabinet approves a highway construction project in Odisha worth Rs.8300.79 crore

Under PM Modi’s leadership, the Cabinet approved an ₹8,300 crore coastal highway project in Odisha connecting Rameshwar to Paradeep across 160 km. The project will boost connectivity, reduce travel time by nearly 2.5 hours, strengthen logistics under PM GatiShakti and promote regional economic growth while lowering fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
