PM Modi addressed the Parliament of Namibia and expressed gratitude to the people of Namibia for conferring upon him their highest national honour. Recalling the historic ties and shared struggle for freedom between the two nations, he paid tribute to Dr. Sam Nujoma, the founding father of Namibia. He also called for enhanced people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

PM Modi participated in the Outreach Session of the G7 Summit in Kananaskis and addressed a Session on 'Energy Security.' The PM highlighted that energy security was among the leading challenges facing future generations. While elaborating on India's commitment to inclusive growth, he noted that availability, accessibility, affordability and acceptability were the principles that underpinned India's approach to energy security.
