At the invitation of Netherlands PM Rob Jetten, PM Modi paid an official visit to the Netherlands. They held discussions and expressed their desire to further expand and deepen the multifaceted relationship between the two countries. Noting with satisfaction the progress achieved in recent years, they elevated bilateral ties to a 'Strategic Partnership' and welcomed the adoption of a Strategic Partnership Roadmap.Restitution of Chola Copper Plates

In a joyous moment for every Indian, PM Modi and Netherlands PM Rob Jetten participated in the restitution ceremony of the 11th-century Chola Copper Plates to India. These copper Plates are royal charters issued by Chola Kings, formalising the gifting of Anaimangalam village to a Buddha vihara called Chulamanivarma-vihara in Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu.
