The Union Cabinet chaired by PM Modi has approved proposal of the Department of Fertilizers for fixing the Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) rates for KHARIF Season, 2026 on Phosphatic and Potassic (P&K) fertilizers. The tentative budgetary requirement for Kharif season 2026 would be around Rs.41,533.81 crore. The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the launch and implementation of the Regional Connectivity Scheme – Modified UDAN for a period of ten years from FY 2026-27 to FY 2035-36, with a total outlay of Rs. 28,840 crore. The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Narendra Modi, has approved the ‘Small Hydro Power (SHP) Development Scheme for the period FY 2026–27 to FY 2030–31’ with an outlay of Rs. 2,584.60 crore.
