The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the BHAVYA - Rasayan Scheme for establishing three dedicated Chemical Parks at a cost of ₹3,030 crore. The scheme, which will run for five years from FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31, will lead to a cascading effect through enhanced development of downstream sectors of the economy, thereby generating higher employment and promoting greater economic growth, helping achieve the goal of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.Cabinet approves a multitracking project across Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh

The project is planned under the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, with a focus on enhancing multimodal connectivity and logistics efficiency.
