PM Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh on 28 March 2026 to inaugurate Phase I of Noida International Airport worth around ₹11,200 crore. The airport will initially have a passenger handling capacity of 12 MPPA, with scalability up to 70 MPPA upon full development. Designed as a sustainable and future-ready infrastructure project, the Noida airport’s architectural design blends cultural aesthetics with modern infrastructure.

Cabinet approves revised cost estimate for the construction of Greenfield Connectivity in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired PM Modi, has approved the revised total capital cost of Rs.3630.77 crore for the construction of Greenfield Connectivity in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The 31.42 km long project corridor will provide direct and high-speed connectivity from South Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram to Jewar International Airport, thereby promoting economic growth and logistics efficiency across NCR.

Cabinet approves semiconductor unit in Uttar Pradesh

The Union Cabinet, led by PM Modi, approved the establishment of a sixth semiconductor unit under the India Semiconductor Mission. A joint venture between HCL and Foxconn, the plant near Jewar airport will manufacture display driver chips for mobile phones, laptops, and more.
