Cabinet approves infrastructure projects along Varuna River Bank in Uttar Pradesh worth Rs.10,998.32 Crore

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, approved a 43.218-km Link/Connector Corridor along the River Varuna in Varanasi. The project will ease congestion, halve travel time between NH-31 and Kashi Railway Station, strengthen multimodal connectivity and boost tourism and economic growth.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi to visit Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh

PM Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh on 11th April. In Varanasi, he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate various development projects worth over Rs 3,880 crore. In Madhya Pradesh, he will perform darshan and pooja at Guru Ji Maharaj Temple in Isagarh and participate in a public programme at Anandpur Dham.
