Prime Minister’s visit to the United Arab Emirates

During PM Modi's official visit to the United Arab Emirates, he held discussions with UAE President HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The PM reaffirmed India’s strong condemnation of the attacks on the UAE and also conveyed India’s position in favour of ensuring safe transit passage through the Strait of Hormuz. The two leaders reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral relations and welcomed the deepening of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership across multiple sectors.Cabinet approves Ship Repair Facility at Vadinar, Gujarat

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the development of a state‑of‑the‑art Ship Repair Facility at Vadinar, Gujarat at a cost of Rs.1,570 crore. The project will generate jobs, boost regional economic growth and support India’s long‑term maritime objectives under Maritime India Vision 2030 and Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047.
