During the discussions with Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing, PM Modi appreciated him for choosing India as his first foreign visit as President. PM Modi also expressed happiness that the President began his programme in India from Bodh Gaya with the blessings of Lord Buddha. During his visit to India, Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing held discussions with PM Modi, during which they reviewed bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest and charted the way forward for the relationship.
