PM Modi spoke with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and conveyed advance Eid greetings to the people of Oman. During the discussion, the PM reiterated India’s condemnation of the attack on Oman and expressed appreciation for Oman’s efforts to facilitate the safe return of Indians. PM Modi arrived in Muscat, Oman, a short while ago. He was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the airport. The PM’s visit marks 70 years of the establishment of diplomatic ties between India and Oman. PM Modi will visit Jordan, Ethiopia and Oman from December 15 – 18, 2025. In Jordan, the PM will meet His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to review the India-Jordan relations.
