PM Modi and Japanese PM Ishiba travelled together to visit Tokyo Electron Miyagi Ltd at Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture. PM Modi addressed the first after the adoption of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. PM said that 2015 was a momentous year as International Community adopted 2 major frameworks - the Sustainable Development Goals & the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. PM also outlined a ten-point agenda for renewing our efforts towards disaster risk reduction.
