Prime Minister meets with the Governor General of Australia

PM Modi met with the Governor-General of Australia, the Hon. Ms. Sam Mostyn AC, in Melbourne. The two leaders exchanged views on the growing depth and persity of the India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They also welcomed the growing economic partnership and sporting ties between India and Australia. They called for closer cooperation in the run up to the Commonwealth Games 2030 to be hosted by India and Olympics 2032 to be hosted in Australia.Prime Minister’s visit to Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand

At the invitation of the heads of state of Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand, PM Modi will visit the three countries from 6-11 July, 2026. In Indonesia, he will hold bilateral talks with President Prabowo and visit the Prambanan Temple. In Australia, he will meet PM Anthony Albanese and address the CEOs Forum. In New Zealand, he will hold talks with PM Christopher Luxon during the first state visit by an Indian PM in 40 years.
