Prime Minister Narendra Modi to launch ₹1 Lakh Crore Research Development and Innovation Scheme Fund

PM Modi will inaugurate the Emerging Science, Technology and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 on 3rd November. He will launch the ₹1 lakh crore Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund, giving a major boost to the country’s R&D ecosystem. ESTIC 2025 will feature talks by leading scientists, panel discussions, presentations and technology showcases, further strengthening India’s science and technology ecosystem.

Cabinet Approves RDI Scheme in Strategic and Sunrise Domains

The Union Cabinet chaired by PM Modi has approved the Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme with a corpus of Rs. One lakh Crore. It fosters self-reliance and global competitiveness in private sector thereby facilitating a conducive innovation ecosystem for the country as it marches towards Viksit Bharat at 2047.
