During the visit, he will attend the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the National Day of Seychelles as the Guest of Honour and will hold talks with President Herminie. He will also address the National Assembly of Seychelles and interact with members of the Indian diaspora.

The President of India will now refer the Kerala (Alteration of Name) Bill, 2026 to the Kerala Legislative Assembly for expressing its views under the proviso to Article 3 of the Constitution of India. Earlier, on 24 June 2024, the Kerala Legislative Assembly had passed a resolution seeking the name change.
