The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by PM Modi, has approved the widening of the existing Armoor-Jagtial-Mancherial Section of NH-63 and Jagtial-Karimnagar Section of NH-563 to the 4-lane standard at a cost of Rs.7597.16 crore. In line with the PM GatiShakti principles, these projects will enhance regional mobility and promote socio-economic development.

The project provides seamless connectivity to key economic, social, and logistics nodes across Bihar, with the upgraded corridor enhancing multi-modal integration by connecting with 5 PM Gati-Shakti Economic Nodes.

Exceeding all expectations and predictions, India's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has demonstrated a remarkable annual growth of 7.6% in the second quarter of FY2024. Building on a strong first-quarter growth of 7.8%, the second quarter has outperformed projections with a growth rate of 7.6%. A significant contributor to this growth has been the government's capital expenditure, reaching Rs. 4.91 trillion (or $58.98 billion) in the first half of the fiscal year, surpassing the previous year's figure of Rs. 3.43 trillion.
