PM Modi met Sr. Gen. Min Aung Hlaing of Myanmar on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Tianjin. They discussed ways to deepen cooperation in defence, security, trade, and connectivity projects that can bring people closer and strengthen regional ties. Visit of Prime Minister to the United Kingdom and Maldives (July 23 – 26, 2025)

PM Modi will pay an official visit to the UK and a State Visit to Malpes from July 23 – 26. He will hold wide ranging discussions with PM Starmer, and they will also review the progress of the CSP. PM Modi will be the ‘Guest of Honour’ at the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Independence of Malpes on July 26. He will meet Malpes President Muizzu and hold discussions on issues of mutual interest.
