Cabinet approves Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for Kharif Crops for Marketing Season 2026-27

In line with the announcements made in Union Budget 2018-19, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by PM Modi has approved the increase in the MSP for 14 Kharif crops for Marketing Season 2026-27. This will ensure remunerative prices for growers for their produce. During the period 2014-15 to 2025-26, the government's procurement of 14 Kharif crops was 8746 LMT, while during the period 2004-05 to 2013-14, procurement stood at 4679 LMT.
